Thinglink

Thinglink is an awesome tool for teachers as well as students. Thinglink is an image engagement tool that makes it easy to add clickable tags to any image on the web and share the tagged images on social networks. It helps you create rich images. Make your images come alive with music, video, text, images, and more!

You can use a picture central to your lesson and add ‘hotspots’ to it which will then link to content of your choosing.  Others can also add ‘hotspots’ or links on your image allowing for collaboration between students, groups and or teachers. The links can be just text, a link to another source, a link to a video and so forth.  The list is endless.

Be creative!

This is an example of a Thinglink connected to the book Miracle in The Andes which we are currently reading. Thinglinks can be remixed by anyone when you allow for that, making it a true collaborative endeavour.
